To find a balance between pace and recovery time that is sustainable and optimal to complete 400km within the allotted 27hrs and to be able to repeat this 2 more times.
With these distance, it also helps to surface other issues like saddle sores and aches from other parts of the body that need to find ways to manage them.
With fixed gear, as the mileage clocks up, going down hill and the numerous starts & stops at traffic lights adds additional strain on fatigue.
Completed within the allotted time, but there are much we need to optimise for the rest stops to be more efficient.
